Front End Narrowed...Help

I am thinking of trying to Narrow my front fenders and hood a bit. When I was in Moab at Yotafari I wheeled with one of Corey's friends that had a gray truck that did this. Sorry I dont remember his name, it was a sick ride for sure. We also did Hells Revenge

Does anyone have any ideas and or advice on doing this.

I would also like to take the inner fenders (in the front) out and put something a little strong that will not rip as often as they are doing right now.

If so post some photos for me or send me an E-mail at My E-mail

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

I hope the photo turns out, this is the only one I could find

hmm... not much tech came out of this thread. the other night i actually dreamt about doing this so i thought i would revive the thread. in my dream i simply crushed the front end together.

but really, cant i just cut the core support narrower and force the fenders together, inner fenders that is. then bolt the fenders on. and the grille is no big deal. it seems easy but it cant be right?

Rhett's rig is very cool and he did a nice job on his fenders. Here's a different way of going about it that is an option. This one is here for an exo. It belongs to a customer here in SLC and I didn't think he would mind me pimpin' his junk. It's a pretty cool rig. :)

For those of you guys narrowing with EFI, where are you putting all of that junk located on the inner fender wells after you narrow it? Are you just fabbing up new inner wheel wells and if so, how? Pics would be awesome as well!!

Hey Von,

Were did the battery go? You guys putting them in the rear of the rigs or in the Cab?

You guys going to add a winch to the front of that thing or just a stinger!

As much as we'd like to take some credit for this rig (as this is typically what we would do with a pickup or 4runner :) ), we're just doing the exo work from the cab forward. Matt, the owner has already mounted the battery behind the fuel tank in the bed area. There are plans for a winch, which we'll take into consideration while doing our tube work. As for the stinger, neither Matt or us here are big fans of big 'ol "stingers". Something a bit more tasteful will find it's way up front. ;) If interested, we can get ya some pics when done.

Would love to see any pics you will have of it, when done or getting close. I'am Glad to hear your staying away from the stinger.... :D Cant wait to see this one!
