I need a w56 for an 89 pick-up mabey the t-case too. I am only interested in one that is in good working order. I live near Salt Lake City. Let know soon I may buy a rebuilt unit but I'm not looking to spend that much money, so let know if you have anything. :redspotda

I purchased a used a W56 a couple months ago and was told it was running good with only a slight whine in 3rd and 5th. If you can deal with that, it's yours for $50. I never installed it.

Sounds good, do you have a t-case that goes with it? I have a w-56c with a fowared shifting t-case, the t-case does not shift at all I don't know if its broken or if the linkage in my tranny witch I know is broken is the coulpret.
