This engine is a good engine. It could use a re-ring. The engine has been rebuilt within the last couple of years. It's been bored 10.0MM. The cylinders are in good shape, with no ridges. It doesn't knock or rattle. The compression was 160 on #1 and #2, 140 on #3 and 150 on #4. Those were the dry test results, and done before the new timing set was installed. I don't see smoke when I go down the road, but I smokes a little when it's idling. I just put a new timing chain and gears, head gasket and oil pan gasket. I went through all the proper steps required to install the timing set. No short cuts were taken. The engine does not leak or anything. The water pump is like new. I only use distilled water and anti-freeze/coolant in my engines. I have a new engine on the engine stand waiting to go in, after I take out the old engine. I have a short video file I can email so the engine can be seen and heard, before you buy it. It fires up beutiful every day, morning, day or night. Hot or cold. The engine is very dependable. Just re hone the cylinders and put new rings and bearings. ( I always replace the bearings when I replace rings.) The engine will be sold in longblock style. I want $350.00 for the engine, as is. I will re-ring it for an additional fee.
