I bought an add-a-leaf kit for my '87 runner to correct the rear sagging.
Does anyone out there have any tips or tricks for install that has done this?
Thanks in advance

aint gonna correct the rear sagging but will gve your truck that added stiffness you dont want. pull the springs out, unbolt the center pin, put in leaf, reinstall

I was told just the opposite by many. I was going to do shackles to lift the rear, but I posted a question a few weeks ago and was told to do an add-a-leaf because it will bring it back up to stock height, and work with it from there.

Did Rancho Adds this summer on my sagging 88 runner. Worked fine. Have you done yours yet?

I finally went to 4wheeler parts and got a pro comp add-a-leaf for like $35 and put it in. I raised my rear up 2" and leveled it out with the fromt. I am very pleased with it!!
