I think they are made by the same people, if not they are close. Chris use to work for All Pro and went over to Marlin, and then when he went to Marlin they started to sell springs.........so it makes you wounder if they are from the same spring maker?? I think Marlin's have a few more leafs vs All Pro, I have had both sets on my Ride (front only) and the Marlins opened up a bit more for me, but they also went flat faster than the All Pros did. Like 1/4 of the time vs all pros. I also go wheeling two or three time a month to some hard core trails.
alright cool, so i guess it doesn't really matter who i go with....thanks for the info

They are very close to being the same.. But from what iv heard, Marlin is the best.. great to work with ect..
I have all pro.. And wasnt happy with it at first.. it was extreamly stiff, and didnt flex as well as it should.. but.. after a few tough trail rides.. the damn thing is nice and flexy.. If you get the all pro extream kit.. upgrade the shocks (its a little bit extra money, but its worth it..) My truck out-flexed the shocks it came with, and I had to upgrade to the nicer blistiens..
My worthless 2 cents

btw My all pro's have like an ~8 pack in the rear, and ~5 in the front..
My buddys superlift has 3 in the front, 5 in the back.. dont know why..
ya i was plannin on going with the marlin kit cause i had heard a lot of good about it, but then i was reading on the tech tips in hear and they didn't mention marlins kit as one of the suspension lift kits that was preferred for toyota so i thought tha i would ask anyway
anybody got any pics of a 1st generation truck with the marlin kit on?
thanks
its all personal.
me i like custom.

Marlin all the way. You just can't beat his customer service.
ya i was wanting to do a custom lift...with the chevy springs and my rears up front, but then i would have to do the hysteer kit with that, so i just decided to go with one of these kits since it already has the hysteer, lift, and u bolt flip, etc

They are NOT the same. All Pro's springs (from what I've heard) are made in Mexico, Marlin's....America (northern Ca., I believe). All Pro's Hysteer arms are cast http://www.marlincrawler.com/castarms.html  , Marlin's are billet steel. Just a couple (there are more) of major differences (prices being fairly equal, though) so, beware! ........Hans

they aren't the same. both marlin's and all pro's springs are made by the same company but marlin's springs are made in a US plant and all pro's are made in mexico. the clamps on marlin's springs are much better than the ones on all pro's springs. not only that but marlin has one of the best customer service records i've ever heard of. definetly go with marlin.
plus.. marlin's hysteer arms are better.

Word! I am in the same boat. I've got some extra rears and a pack of 57 inch Ford F-150's. After looking at the marlin trail flex kit, it's got everything. I'm going to be ordered the marlin kit minsus the hy-steer since I've already ordered it from them
Here' some pics of the Marlin Trail Flex kit installed

Pages two and three are where the pictures are located.
By the time I could either buy or make the u-bolt flips, shock hoops, shocks, all the nuts and bolts, spring hangers (front and rear), brake lines, IFS box mount, etc., it adds up to the Trail flex kit.
I can't wait to order it up and install!

marlin flat out. and any of you can tell me that marlin and allpro springs are made by the same people, i dont believe that. i bought the amercan springs from marlin, compared to my buddies mexican allpros..out the box my marlin rode 10xbetter and were much softer. as where the allpros need break in time :thumbdown . like already stated marlins customer service is bye far the best flt out and they have gone out of there way a few times for me. hell you get a christmas card from them!
i will never bye from allpro. i had to call them when doing my buddies extreme lift on his 81. the guy on the phone wasnt to bright, he was a nice guy but didnt know his stuff. if you have heard the things about john there owner you would also switch to marlin. im sure you will make the right choice.
