my 22 re engine leaks oil like a banshee, i think its coming from the front crankshaft seal. i was just wondering if anyone can tell me about how long it would take to replace these seals by my self. and how hard is it to do? do i have to take out the radiator? i also have A/C. and oil shot all over my alternator and i think it might have burned it out. i bought another one and put foil tape all around it to keep shit out, i jumped it and it started fine sat at 12 volts for like a minute till i turned on the parking lights then it went to 6v on the gauge and kept dropping a little bit. is it okay to seal an alternator?? also my headlights switch doesnt work, i know its not the relay cuz i bought a new one and it still didnt work. im guessing its in the twisty switch on the column. does any one know how to take this apart to check it? please send any advice u have. my vehicle is my job and im almost broke

externally regulated alternator on some models. Oil seals take about 30 minutes if you have done them a couple of times. just remember the starter and breakr bar method is by far the easiest method to the main pulley bolt loose. no radiator pull required.
