Whats going on guys...I'm from Virginia and have a 91 4runner with the 3.0 and its starting to puff the steam out the exhaust. I'm not dealing with this underpowered gas hog with issues anymore. Looking into the 4.3 swap. Did a search on your forum and found some articles but on older 4runners. I have the auto tranny and was wondering if anyone knew of all the adapters I would need and what tranny? I know the wiring is going to be a PITA and I would like to get a simple harness made up from someone. Do I also need the donor vehicles ECU too? I've been looking into the 3.4 swap, 350 and 302 swaps but the 4.3 seems more simple to do. Would prefer the injection vortec and I have read it is pretty hard to wire up. Any inputs guys would be appreciated :grin: I'm a member of yotatech too and this site is primarily set up the same as they are!
