Electrical Trouble

I have a 78 FJ40 with a Chevy 350 smallblock and I recently replaced the voltage regulator because the regulator it had blew out my new stereo... and now it wont start even with a jump/charger any ideas on what the problem might be? I figured either alternator,starter,ignition...anyone else had this problem? Any tech tips would be greatly appriciated

You should run an internally regulated 10Si or 12Si Delco alternator. Be sure your battery is charged. Double check your wiring to be sure you installed the reg properly.
