I took out my subs tuesday night and went wheeling up at reiters pit on highway 2 in Washington wednesday morning. I took it for all it was worth and wednesday night I put my subs back in and drove downtown. I noticed that my subs weren't working so I restarted the system and reset all my settings. This didn't work. Today I jumped in the trunk and turned on the radio through my remote control. There is a light that shows up when the amp is working and one amp was working and the other wasn't. I called the place where I had the stereo installed and asked what happened and all they could tell me was maybe a blown fuse. It is free to take it in to get looked at on saturday afternoon, but I am wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them. And maybe I will post a pic or two of wednesday on here.

Yea, I would say it's probably a fuse. I would check the wires that are coming off of your battery, there should be a fuse holder for a straight fuse, like the older bus type fuses. Then you can also look on the amp itself. It should have some fuses on it, some have 1 some have 2. It's probably the fuses on the amp that are toast, unless they ran 2 wires from the battery for power.
Any way, check those and post what you find. :Rockonman

You probably just blew a fuse. The only other thing I can think of is there is a wire on your stereo that makes the amp turn on, it is the wire used for a power antenna. That part on my stereo quit working so the amp wouldn't turn on. So the shop just wired the amp to the ignition switch, cost me like 6 bucks. It was a cheap deck, so I doubt that is your problem.

Well I took it back to the installation department at Magnolia Hi-Fi and was in and out in 25 minutes for free. It was enough time for a salesman to come up and offer to buy back my system and upgrade me to double the power for 450 bucks...
