I hate them!!! But I have one on my Toy that was there when I got it and I was just to lazy to deal with it ;) ;) so it's still on :o :o
Good luck
of course they make a body lift for it. but the linkage on the automatic gets sorts tricky. and i think you have to fab up your own linkage.

I have one of Roger's kits (non-auto). If you take the link for your year, it will tell you cost and options.

I would imagine if you got a non-auto lift and then did a drivetrain lift as well, it would work just fine ...then while you're at it, you might as well do a SAS too

the SAS in in future plans when cash is more abundant! :boing for now i wanna stuff 33s. would it make more sense to do a 1-2" BL or a BJ spacer up front and some springs/spacers in the rear to level it out?
1 inch body lift for every 3 inches of suspension you plan on doing.
so if you are doing a sas down the road with 6 inches and want 8 inches total.
then ya do a 3 inch body lift.
if your doing a 3 inch suspension and a 3 inch body lift probably not the best idea. maybe a 2 inch body lift.
if your keeping the ifs
do the 3 inch body lift.

It would be a lot faster to just trim 3" out of your fenders

I like the way you think....^^ as long as they would fit? I ran 32 BFG Muds on a completely stock 87 4Runner and all they did was rub on the front mud flap bolts when turning. With a little trimming you should be able to fit 33s easily.

Roger Browns Body lift is the only way to go.
3" lift on mine with an Auto Trans

I used a performance accessories body lift kit and custom made a bracket to drop the 4wd linkage on my automatic.

If you cut the opening a 1/2" smaller than you want it to be you will have about 3/8" that you can bend in so you will not cut your hands or tires. So make a mark @ 3/8" on some pliers and go off that.
Hope that helps

well from 86-95 toyota's performance accessories makes a 2'' or 3'' body lift kit for only stds but it is made possible when you buy the automatic linkage adapter kit which is 27.99 works great
