runner running rough

my 87 efi 4-runner was running great up until today. i took it and sprayed the engine with castrol super clean and then hosed it down. no it feels like it is caughing when i hit the gas, has no power, and idles at like 400 rpms. anybody have any idea what it could be??

Sounds like it's not firing on all cylinders. Check your plugs and wires. Or maybe you shorted an injector. They run on electric impulses.

dood i think you posted somwhere else about this problem.

its water int he distributor.... wd40 and your good to go let it dry it.

did you get it fixed yet ?

yup, got it fixed. thanks for the help, i think things just needed to dry out and what not.

Next time, warm the engine a little, not fully, just some. The water will evaporate faster.
