depends on how nice you want the paint job to come out/ how straight you want your body before you add some paint. there are a ton of tricks you can do. just let me know what your intent is.

Unless your really good at body work don't paint it gloss black. I painted my truck midnight regatta blue and you can tell the body isn't straight.

I dont really care if the body looks straight because Im gonna use this for offroad mostly and it will get body damage no ifs ands or buts. I just want to have an okay lookin job that wont flake off

wipe with acetone before just before you paint.

This is actualy an Awsome topic, I was planning on shooting my truck with gloss black as well
My questions are,
-what is a good way to remove rust?
-do i need to strip the old paint compleatly off to the metal before i prime?
-And are there any pre painting preocedures i (the common idiot) should know?

so why bother with putting bondo on? rattle can is cheap these days. da the truck 320 grit, 180 on the rough spots then back over with the 320
