has anyone bobbed a 4runner with chevys and how much did you cut, want to take like around 12". I will be cutting the top and running a tailgate. i really like t-bones. Need pics. :beer:

Thanks the bad part about the chevys ........... its point less to bob cause the rear of the springs are so long.

I wouldn't necessarily say its pointless to bob the tail section. I ended up taking off 8.5" Of mine because I cut the frame right next to where the chevys mount. I actually had to cut two holes in the tailgate, but that didn't matter beause I gutted the window as well and cut the top in half. Anyway a pic is worth a thousand words.

I have actually never drug my bumper, and the bumper acts as somewhat of a bumpstop because my shackles now bottom out on it since I added the lower tube (to be legal)

Our trucks look very similar
(I wish I bobbed the rear when I chopped mine. Am always dragging my a$$ on inclines
