Please Help! Need Quick Advice With Stripped Head

alright guys. My truck has a HUGE exhause leak so i take off my hood and see where it's coming from. Turns out TWO of the studs that hold my header to the head STRIPPED and FELL OUT.

So basically, the HEAD itself is stripped. The header is 1/4 of an inch from the head where those two studs should have been.
MY question is.

1. Will it hurt to drive my truck with that 1/4 inch gap in between the head and headers?

2. what should i do to fix this problem? Obviously machine shop, but will it be fixable with a helicoil or what??

Tap the hole to 3/8" and voila!

Go get a helicoil kit...it's a pita, but if you do it with a little patience it will fix your prollem. I've had to do my #4 cylinder, PITA!!!! Use some grease on your tap before you start to thread the hole...... then get some new studs and jap-nuts.
