How Much have you been bobbing your bed?

Hey guys... im about to bob my bed this weekend and i wanna know hwo much u have been bobbin your beds...and do u have a pic? i have an 85 shortbed and im thinkin ten inches..wat you guys think..ne sugestions?

I think Justin aka Redbogger bobbed his bed like 14+ inches...he has a shortbed. I want to do mine...I have a long bed, how much should I bob mine? Ive heard I can bob mine anywhere from 19.5-22.5 inches.

I've got a long bed or it was, I bobed it like 17 inches or somthing but I think you can go 19.5 on a long bed. I wish I would have done more.

i bobed a 82 longbed 19 inches and didnt put the back of the bed back on. so i made up some tail lights. it is nice and short and much funner to drive now.

Look underneath at your shackles. You don't want to go farther than that or you are still going to have frame hanging and you will lose storage.

its a 94, but i bobbed it 12 inches. the bed is right on the shackle hanger. since then i put on chevys, moved up the axle about 3 inches and cut out the fender wells. the tires are pretty centered and it looks good.

Take as much off as you can. I'm almost finished my 90 4Runner Bob and I'm thinking I could of taken more off. No shackle mounts to deal with.

Yea but if you bob your bed farther than your frame sticks out, you just look like a tard that can't use a tape measure.

Though you cant really bob past the shackle hangers, unless you are coiled. If you bob the bed past the frame though...you are a tard...but its a good excuse to go flat bed!
