Seems as though my oil viscosity turned to blood like thickness really quickly or there is gasoline leaking into it. How and from whre in the carb could this be happening?

What weight did you start with? How are you coming to the conclusion it seems thinned? Where you changing the oil? Was it hot or cold? Are you experiences oil level rise instead of consumption?

The only time I've heard of this happeneing was on a carb'd engine. The manual fuel pump developed a leak and it ran into the block through the mounting hole. You should be able the smell the gas on the dipstick, if that's the case though. Gas and seals don't mix real well, so you don't want to drive it if that is the case.

I started with 10w-30 and it def ain't that. But I don't see anywhere it could be leaking on the manual fuel pump which I just replaced. Everything seems cool there, new seal and all.

The truck def isn't using oil up either. It has 40 k miles on crate engine.

Your fuel pump diaphram prolly ruptured and it's pumping gas into your crankcase. I had this prollem once on a road trip to Coco Beach Fla., everytime I stopped for gas and checked my oil I had more than the time before. I swapped out the fuel pump and changed my oil and I was back on the road. Have you tried smelling you dip stick....If it smells of fuel, get a new fuel pump asap.
