tech didn't seem like the right place to ask this so i'm going to ask it here.
i need 2 pieces of 2x4 rectangular tubing to come together with about an 80* inside angle. what is the best way to do this? i can either cut both peices with 50* ends but my band saw only goes to 45*. should i rig it up to cut at 50*? the only other things i can think of are to either cut a pie peice out of 1 peice of steel and bend it in or to cut 1 peice with a 10* end and butt it up to the other peice and just cap the end. i don't think cutting out a pie peice and bending it in is going to be as strong but i don't know. any other sugestions? thanks alot

If your cuttin it out of one piece then just cut a 40 then flip one piece with cut ends together and the angle is 80 degrees.I'd show you a picture but I cant figure out how to get it here.Hope that helps.

are you saying cut 2 peices with 40* ends and put them together to get an 80* angle? i could do that but the only problem is that i need 100* outside angle.. not 80*. i would do that if i could cut 50* angles but my bandsaw only goes to 45*. i think i'm just going to rig it up to cut 50*. we'll see wut happens.. thanks
