i have a 1982-83 toyota pickup 22-R and had someone work on it when they did they put a 22-RE in it and a carb. intake and didnt hook up the vaccum lines right and put a electric fuel pump in it and pluged the return fuel line which i have no idea where it is located so if someome here has diagams for a match make and model of my yoata and can e-mail it or know a web site that is very detailed on diagrams let me know PLEASE !!!!

here are some pics. i switched from a californa smog vacume to a canada vacume system. as far as the fuel return it should be right there. did they put a re in or is it still carbed? if that dosent help ask more ? and i will try to help cuz i know it can be a major pain. :Thumbsup:

i have a 1982-83 toyota pickup 22-R and had someone work on it when they did they put a 22-RE in it and a carb. intake and didnt hook up the vaccum lines right and put a electric fuel pump in it and pluged the return fuel line which i have no idea where it is located so if someome here has diagams for a match make and model of my yoata and can e-mail it or know a web site that is very detailed on diagrams let me know PLEASE !!!!well i had ordered another 22-R and they told me it could either be a new engine or one with 30,000 miles or less so of course not having much money or time i ordered 30,000 or less but when they put the order in they oredered a 22-RE instead and took the old intake off the 22-R and kept the disdriputer of the 22-RE and carb. intake so yeah i need the vaccum advance to make it work and on top of that its a carb. intake on a fuel injection engine and when i took the engine apart ALL the vaccum lines inluding the return fuel line was hooked up but when i got it back there was lots of lines pluged and left loose without a hook up point so yeah its a mess and it may go to court seeing how i had to buy a FORD BRONCO II !!!! YUCK!!!!!! and now i cant pay them cause i put a stop to the check for there labor and parts cause they scrwed me !!! and here are some pics of the vaccum lines and what have ya.

i had posted a message asking about if a 22-RE would work with a 22-R intake and carb. but there was no way lol... come to find out the bore and stroke are the only thing thats the same about a 22-RE and a 22-R but yeah lesson learned im working on my own toy from now on but thanks for the folks that tried to help out and keep intouch with me.
