Bore?

im puttin in new piston rings but i got to know the bore first? where is the bore? what do i use to measure it with?

most of the time it's stamped on top of the piston ! it'll say (010-020-030 and so on ) if it is stock bore most times the factory piston will not have any thing stamped on them ! The best thing to do is to take it to a machine shop and have them measure for ya ! are you sure the block doesn't need boring or honing ? Oh and you use a dial caliper to measure your block bore ! :yes:
