I'm looking into lifting my 95 runner but don't know how high I should go or how to go about doing it. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please let me know. I've been told by a few shops that no one makes a lift bigger than 2" and they go for about $2,000. Is this true and if not how can I go bigger for less money? Thanks, Jason

Body Lift is a good place to start.

Talk to the Great Roger Brown. www.4crawler.com AND DONT BUY the performance Accessories Kit Its CRAP

You can get a 3" Body Lift for less than $200 bucks, that should let you put 33" tires on with no problems. 35's with a little fender trimming.

Next option to look at is Ball Joint spacers for the front, and Coil Spacers, Or Toyota Land Cruiser Coils in the rear. that can add another 2 Inches.

I wouldn't waste $2000 on a suspension lift for the IFS system when you can do SAS (soild axle swap) for around that price.

it really depends on what you plan to do with the truck. if it's a rock crawler, i would swap to rear leafs. all pro (www.allprooffroad.com) and marlin crawler (www.marlincrawler.com) sell the stuff you would need to do this. for the front, i would sugest a sas. again, all pro and marlin crawler sell the parts you would need to do this.

if it's going to be a street truck, get a 3" body lift. lots of people sell them. you could even get one used from the classified section. expect to pay $100-200 for the body lift. if you want even more, all pro sells some coil spacers. both together will give you like 5" i think. check it out and good luck

I can definatly recommend Roger Browns stuff. I have his 2" UHMW body lift and motor mount spacers (drivetrain lift) and it's quality stuff. He's great to deal with. Didn't take to long to install either.
