Hey all,

I was wondering if a 22r and 22re head swap were possible. This is between an 87 22re and an 84 22r

Won't work. 84' and older is a different motor (tall block) 85 is the breaking point.........Hans

Actually, the "breaking point" was late in 84, 8/84 I believe.

Check LCE or DOA sites for more info.
