My clutch doesn't completly disengage sometimes, making it hard to get into gear. I've replaced the slave and master cylinders, which seemed to help for awhile, but it still does it on occasion.
Usually it seems to happen after long highway drives. I'm certain that the problem is with the clutch.
Also, it seems like if I ride the clutch a bit harder than usual for a few seconds the problem goes away for awhile. Contaminated clutch disc perhaps? Any ideas would be appreciated... I'm concerned for the wellbeing of my transmission.... :(

Your absolutely certain that the hydraulic system has no air in it? Is your pedal to master cyl adjusted correctly? Have you looked at the slave in action when someone depresses the clutch and watch it reaching maximum extension?

I'm pretty sure there's no air... I suppose a rebleed wouldn't be a bad idea. The pedal doesn't feel spongy at all. I'll check on that..

I had a friend that had the same problem with his truck. His problem actually turned out to be the bracketery thats arround the pedal. The bracket was bending near the fire wall. May not be your problem, but might be worth checking out. We took the whole assembly out, and added some extra bracing to keep it from coming apart.

Another thing that might be causing is a cracked clutch release fork. Happened to a friend's truck and had similar symptons.

Yes, that sparks my memory as well. Eddy Schipper here in Utah had the same problem, we found the bracketry cracked and rewelded it. Could be!

hmm I'll take a look.
if there was air in the system I'd be getting some mushiness in the pedal right? It doesn't feel mushy at all.
