allpro or chevys/4runner

[85 x-cab]

well i currently have an 85 x-cab and had 5.5 inch all pro springs in the rear and currently swapped in some chevys and have to say i love the chevys on the pickup, but im starting a build-up of an 85 4runner and want to know if allpros might work better with a 4runner since its a little heavier, any personal experience or impute would be appreciated.

That is what I have on my Runner and they worked fairly well until I cut a butt load of bed off my Runner.

The lighter weight made them not flex as well but now that I have broken them in and run a longer shackle they flex O.K.

I would not run them again though. I would go with Chebbys or link it.

Chevy's work fine on my 84 Runner.

The Chevy's on my 85runner with a Pro-Comp full length add-a-leaf work great and the ride is awesome. Full stuff is not a prob.
