Well...

Thats it, when i get my truck upright, it dies almost imediatley. ( for example a tall waterfall [Eagles Nest]) I suspected a fuel issue. I have replaced the fuel filter and it still does the same thing. So now im thinking possibly a fuel pump. Every other obstacle its fine its just when i get close to straight up it dies, but it dies almost imediatley. I usually keep about 1/4 full tank, so i thought maybe the fuel rushes to the back of the tank, but it dies right away, if the fuel rushed to the back of the tank with only a 1/4 tank there should still be fuel in the lines to run the motor.. ??.. When it dies on the angle it wont start until i roll back down the obstacle.

Wondering if anyone has experienced this. Just trying to get some feedback before i tear into my fuel tank to pull the fuel pump.

Maybe ill go fill up my tank and try it again.

Usually run it at about 1/4 tank... and never had this problem before. It just started to do it. Also shouldnt there be enough fuel in the lines/filter to run for a couple of minutes ??? Or is it pressure from the pump in the tank that keeps the motor running ? Im usually in Low-Low crawling up to the obstacle and not on the gas hard and it immediatley dies.

I think it takes about 52 PSI for EFI. It isnt gonna take that pump a real l ong time to push that fuel out of the lines and back into the tank!

When your vertical, how do you get it started after it dies? Besides turning the key!

On this one particular obstacle, it dies on the top, try and crank it over and nothing. So i push in the nifty little "Clutch-Start-Cancel" button and put it in gear, crank it over and let the starter motor roll me back off the ledge and then turn it over and start it.

Same problem here.

I know it may need more fuel in the tank but all my Yota friends run the same amount of fuel as me and they dont have the problem.

I have to roll back off the obstacle and start it again.

There are 2 maybe 3 places where I wheel that it does this. Pretty extreme angle but my friends keep there junk running.

:cuss:

You are way off!!! 32-38 psi is the output pressure of the pump. A Toy only runs about 1-3 seconds after the fuel supply is cut off.

Thanks for the info....I stand corrected.
