i need a cam ! power needed

i have been thinking i need a cam, ive been driving my buddys 88 with a 22re, and man there so much faster, but i want my straight axle and have no money to find a 85. been thinking about a camshaft, but wonder about smog? and price? help me out. any power mods, my trucks a dog with 33's

the TRD level one cam is smog legal. not sure how much power it would give you, but I imagine it would be enough to feel. It runs around 150

I have seen a link that compares all the different cams available, but I can't find it.... maybe someone will post it up.

remember a cam is just a step, you need all the other goodies to make real power, exhaust, high flow air filter, headers, MAF sensor mod, adj. cam gear, over-bored t body, ect....
