Just got into the cruiser seen. Had a built fourrunner before but that was stolen. So life goes on build something else. I have not seen anywhere about guys running springs other than stock or lifted springs that are oem replacements. I am going to be doing a shackle reversal on the front and moving the axle forward so new mounts will have to be made anyhow. Any input would help.

i am in the process of doing a spring over i am using f150 springs i had a buddy use them on his fj40 and they are really flexy i will post how it works if i ever finish this pain in the ass

FJ55 rear springs work great. They give good articulation and nice ride. Waggy springs are popular also...
