weight questions

ok i got a few questions for u guys.

first how much does a 91 toyota truck extra cab 4cyl weight, wet weight so i get a good idea with a full tank.


then how much can a toyota trundra tow, a 99 access cab, how much wieght can they tow confortabley and when i mean tow i mean to moab and back. will it completey suck towing a truck on a trailer to moab 5 times a yr. diesels are pricey and iv had problems with them, and i dont like anything but toyota.

my trailer weighs 1700 pounds plus the weight of my truck with 3/4 ton axles.

im guessing my truck weights about 4000 pounds


also read tundras can pull 7100 pounds but that seems steem.

i could easily tow 6000 pound with trailer brakes. if fact they make it sound like i u could tow 80% of 7100 pounds (wet wieght) without a problem

how much did ur truck wieght when u weighed it jeff?


anyways i cant wait till i get my tundra and can test it out in october

our trucks weight like 4-4300 (3rd gen Xtra cab's) i have a friend who tows his 90's extra cab(built like ours) from sacramento to the hammers(like 7-8 hours) no probs with a tundra.(OOPS on the pirate board)

dang man thanks that is what i wanted to know becuz know one could give me a direct answer if anyone actualy tows these trucks long distance.


so does he have his trailer brakes hooked up on his trailer?
