Got the 22RE head back from the machine shop...the holes in the back of the head where the cast plate bolts on for the EGR pass-thru...both the tube in the plate and the tubes in the head are about 60% clogged.

#1-- why is that?

#2--how do I clean out the one that goes down the whole length of the head?

#3--should I get a new EGR (ok that's a dumb one)

In my other head gasket experiences, I've never seen this. Wanna know what to do before I start putting stuff together.

When does my "virgin" staus go away? Gives me the willies...

i dont know about the engine, but you can edit your tag in the user CP, then go to "options." Down towards the bottom there is a spot to change it, as well as your avatar.

I foud the avatar (obviously) bud I didna' find the tag thing. On the options page you say?

keep posting and ull loose it after u get above 50 some where around there:Rockonman

i think you have to have a certain number of posts before you can edit it yourself. you first "upgrade" comes as 30, i think.
