Man....I'm so jealous. These things are SOLID. These things dwarf the Yota gears. :( Just wanted to share some tech pics.....this is the 1st pattern run on crashinaz's front 60.......

Drive side

yeah they are beef. i am tryin to get a pass side hp60 for my junk so i can get a dana 70U and run 6.17s. mmmmmmmm 6.17s :D

I'm sure you will like the stoutness.......6.17 is a good number. Oh ya, make sure that you get DANA brand gears. Crashinaz got some foreign 5.38 gears and the quality level of the Dana 6.17 stuff was real obvious. In the case of the 538 gear, he was 'assured' they were Dana.....they were not. I looked at them figuring I could figure out from the ring gear markings who made them.......they were very generic. And crappily made by a f************got operation.:beer:

Is that why the coast side is inside a little while the drive is good?

...as the pinion goes deeper, the drive side pattern will pull into the toe which is desired. will post up more pics soon.

So what you are saying is that's good? I have no idea about gears.

Yes,2$,....it is good to have the drive pattern favoring the toe (inside of ring)....cause under torq it moves into the center which is the strongest spot.
