Rear window control switch: cut in half!

While cutting a hole for the rear speakers just behind the driver's seat I cut through the little plactic, white box that apparently controls the rear electric window.

Whats the best source, price and fix now?

i would just connect the wires as if the switch was closed. then just remember to not put your window up with the top off:yes:

I'm confused on how I'd do this. The box has a plug, so I simply unplugged the whole box. Which needs to be soldered to what in order to make this function now?

it looks like (from an ewd, no vehicle here) that the switch is a simple switch with two wires to it. when the switch is closed it completes the circuit letting you control the window. if you connect the two wires going to the switch the window will always work. you could do that until some one gives a free switch. you can have mine for shipping by next spring. maybe sooner if the rest of the runner doesn't make it.
