My 84 4-Runner has a 4 inch lift kit. The rear end appears to be saggin an inch or two lower than the front. Yes I know that the front fender or wheel cutouts are taller and give a higher appearance as opposed to the rear.
I can see my body bushings look to be toasted and squashed. Is there a good place to purcahse new ones online? How much are they and are they difficult t install and can I get taller ones to bring the rear end to equal level with the front?

actually from the factory toyotas sit 1" lower in the rear....so when ya buy a lift kit the front is a true 4" and the rear 3". as far as the bushings...dunno where to get em other than the factory....but im assuming they wouldnt be hard to replace....allmost like doing a body lift.

What if I buy new springs that are 1 to 1.5 inches higher int he rear? Then I don't have to do the body bushing route and mayb eI can get a little more compliance in my rear suspension with new springs. The rear question is how do I know which springs to order and from where?
I've been told from the previous owner that the highered rear end on my 1984 is through a shackle and a helper spring. I dont' see a helper spring though.

I've got 5" front and 7" back I think it's perfect for looks, I'll probably roll a bit easier, but that's gonna happen eventially anyway. all those saggy toyotas make me wanna vomit

How do I tell what size mine are now and which ones to get?
Yeah I hear you about the saggy ends. At first I thought they were supposed to be like that but even considered the little higher front fender wells, they are still sagging like an old hag's rear end!

You said your lift is a 4" right? If not I'd measure somebody else's rig to compare to yours, that won't be very exact if either of you are sagging from an old lift.
Another cheap option is put a bigger shackle but that won't help your ride or articulation at all. I even ran a block but that turned my leafs into an "S"

What if I accidently get a spring thats an inch or two, too long? Will my Rancho still work ok? Or do I have to get the exact size or smaller in order to keep my shocks correct?

not sure what you mean by your rancho? shocks, springs? But if your worried about getting the wrong length of spring get one made for your rig unless you understand a lot about custom leaf packs. I just got 56" alcans and had sky's move both the front and rear hanger. While your spending money on them you may as well do it right alcans, aor orbit eyes etc.
