Thermostat not working... ?!?!

Ok this has been going on for a couple weeks now.. but anyways, A couple weeks ago i had just gotten my engine put back together after rebuilding the bottom end.. and for some reason the thermostat guage isn't working. The needle doesn't move, nothing. Any ideas?

my guesss is the connector is either a) not connected or b) you hooked it up to the wrong plug. i did this when i rebuilt my motor but mine was grounding out...so when i turned my truck on it pegged out. if it was a fuse im guessing your other dash gauges would be wacko too. if everything is plugged up right....take the wire and ground it out..turn the truck on and see if the gauge moves..if it does you need a new sending unit.

i have the same problem, when i put my new motor in, somewhere i messed mine up, but mine goes to normal right when u start it up, it isnt accurate and i dont know to start tracing, ne ideas?:Rockonman

all my other guages work right.. so it must be a wire.. :( I'll check it out and let you know.
