84 header on a 22re?

Will an header from a 22r fit on a 22re? I found a good deal on one but I have an 85 truck.

The main difference between the two exhuasts are the shape of the ports. The older trucks have a large hole and a smaller hole above it and the newer ones have a pear shaped port. See if your ports match the header, but it should work fine.

You will have another problem, in that your EFI truck needs an O2 sensor in the exhaust. A header for a 1984 (carbed) truck probably won't have the O2 sensor bung. You can, however, have one welded in later. Just be aware of this need before you buy.
