can somebody tell me the line speed and wire thickness for mig welding 1/8" plate steel..
thanks alot :D
If you got a decent mig, that info should be on the welder itself.
The side panel where you change the wire?

need more info...110 or 220 volt? what wire size? i'll tell ya what i know from experience...being a certified welder....the settings depend on how you weld, and what youre comfortable with. get some scrap and try it out with differnet settings. on 1/8th inch material since im skilled i cold run hot as hell and fast (26volts and 5-600 on the wire speed. but if youre new..try 19 volts and 2-300 on the wire. thats runnin a 220 miller machine. since youre new start with lower settings and work your way up...keep in mind if you weld too hot youre gonna warp your material. hope that helps.
