Ok, well i'm about 60-70% done with the swap. Looks like i'm gonna have to mount my efi tank in the bed, hard to find a 85 efi tank round here. My question is that I can't find a wiring diagram/pinout for a 1981 toyota and a 1989 4wd. If someone has to links to some good ones please post, it would help a lot.
Thanks, Alex.

What do you want to know? Shoot me some colors or things you want to wire. I`ve done many swaps like these and other electrical mods....

It's all good, we got everything wired in, cept for Wholesale Auto here in b-town f'd me, the fuel pump is bad in the tank they sold me. So, again, the truck does not run, but I'm gonna try plan b, whatever that may be.

You can also use a dodge dakota tank and fuel pump if you want. the pump has the same pressure parameters. only the fuel gauge has gremlins, it shows full then starts to go up and down...

I went back and traded that pos tank for one from a 92 standard cab shortbox that bolted right in. I haven't finished hookin it up, had to go buck bales tonight. Might be a few days 4 i got free time.

Well I had it goin last week for 8 hours, then the fuel pump gave up on me, today I finally got the new pump in and found the old one to be more rust than fuel pump anymore, so i'm back out on the road with EFI in my 81'. I get out of one of my debts soon, so an exo-cage is moving up the list of things i need to do quickly.
