Tranny Problems

I have a whine coming from the tranny whenever I speed up, then when I slow down it starts to go away. I have a 1986 Toyota Pickup that had a turbo. The tranny is the same as the turbo and V6 tranny. It is a R series. Any help would be usefull.

Remove the rear drive shaft and go take a ride... this way it will eliminate any d-shaft question/ noise. Doesn't mean the sound comes from the tranny that it is the culprit. Ask me how I know!

Ok, I just went out and drained the T-case oil. I found that it was only dripping. I had almost no oil in there. Filled her up and ready to go!
