I'm going to soon be running, All Pro long travel springs front and rear. With shackles and springs, it will get me around 4" of lift. I'll be going hy-steer at the time as well, with all that money going all at once I won't have the funds for new shocks(5100s). My question is, will there be any problems running stock shocks with this much lift for a time until I can afford a new set?
Thanks again.

the stock shocks will not reach ;)
And.......... your going to need a longer front hoop (ie ford shock tower?) and you ARE going to do a U-bolt flip in the rear (right?) so that gets rid of the rear shock mount at the axle....... and your going to probley put your shocks at an angle like this / \ .... I copyed Bud builts idea and welded it to the tube for the rear upper mount and made some weld on shock brackets for the axle
You "don't really" need shocks to drive it around anyhow

geez, I don't know what I was thinking, I knew all that you just said and yet I still posted this. :kidding: :Freak: :Freak: :Nerd: Sorry guys. I know I can drive w/o shocks but I rather not drive a giant super ball for a truck. I've seen my buddy drive his 2nd gen SAS Runner w/o shocks and that thing was scary just to watch. Oh well guess I better ask for a credit increase.
Sorry for the waste of space w/ a stupid ?
