A guy told me u can get 3 " wider

the wheel mounting surface on the ifs hub (the actual hub not the locking part) is 1.5 inches farther outward on an ifs truck so it moves the wheel out 1.5" but you need something behind it if you swap it onto a straight axle. otherwise the hub/wheel would not have the rotor secured to it.

what spline are the solid axle hubs, the ifs ones are only 26

i don't think the splined part of the hub is relevant. that is not the part you switch. but for the record locking hubs are all the same except for the internals, the splines are diferent sizes. but you can switch those between hubs.
