Anyone have experience with installing and running a High Volume Oil Pump, concept sounds good, but I am wondering if it is over bore for a 22re. Rebuilding a new engine from scratch in the garage, my current 22re is showing excessive wear on the exhaust side cam lobes and rockers. Current engine is at 220k miles so wear is normal but, 22re are famous for oil starvation on the exhaust cam side.
Just wondering if to much pressure is bad pressure, hate to prematurely blow any gaskets or rings.
