Engin Fuse Short

Hey everyone. I have an 88 22Re and my engine fuse stated blowing. I traced the wire at fault up across the dash down by the ecu and out into the engine. does anyone know where this solid red wire goes to. its not the alt,cluster,blinker or window. thanks :Help:

Tell us which specific fuse you are talking about! And where does the wire start in the dash?

The fuse in in the drivers kick panel that is marked engine. when it pops i loose blinkers, power windows,and the charge in the cluster panel stays lit. the truck seemes to run fine with it poped. I jumped the fuse and followed the warm wire and it goes out with other wires by the ecu to the engine compartment along with the efi wires. i cant see this solid red wire brake off anywhere. any help where i should look for it?

combination meter (gauge cluster) - idiot lights/gauges
pwr wind relay
neutral start sw
ECT computer (auto trans)
O/D light system
B/U light sw
Alt IGN terminal
PPS computer ?

the Red also branches off as a Green w/Blue stripe to:

seat belt warning system
blinkers
