22r intake on a 20r block?

i just picked up 2 22r blocks for rebiullds the carb on the 22r is almost new and i am wanting to put it on my 80 20r motor till i finish biullding it up (might take a while) will it bolt up to the 20r head (i tried just swapping carbs but hole pattern different ) . just figured i'd ask before i go taking my intake off for no reason also since this not going to be a quick rebiuld any hints for me on getting alittle more hp out of it already have a weber 32/36 but have to get a adapter plate to mount it

22r intake port's are square,20r intake port's are round.

I have a 20r offenhouser intake , that with a webber and 2 " exhaust will help add a cam and header and you'll notice a difference ....

by the way ... NO ... a 22r intake will not fit on a 20r head ... and the carb will not go on either ...

In the past , I did a "hybrid" early 22r block with the 20r head . 1.0 compression just buy using the 20r head ... do some larger valves and a cam ..

oh well guess i'll have to either get a offy intake (since i want/heard of usiing a 20r head on a 22r block)i already have a header i saw some oversize valves on toyota hot licks web site but i'm still looking for after market places to buy from
