I am looking to do an SAS on my 88 IFS toy. I have searched but can not find a parts list for what is required to do this swap. Does anyone sell a kit with all of the brackets and such. I do have a welder and all of the tools to do the work and have acess to an 84 str8 axle front end. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Allpro sells a complete kit.
If you have a little knowledge in the way of fabbing stuff, you may want to just make it yourself:

1- You need to build a front spring hanger that welds to the underside of your frame.

2- You will need to order the tubes for the shackle mounts that go through the frame. Allpro has them for @ $30/pair. Also, if you don't know anyone who has a pair of jigs for correct placement of these tubes, you'll want to order a pair. These can be easily sold to other Toy owners when you're done.

3- You will need to make some shackles.

4- Know what front springs you are using before you begin cutting, so you know how far back to place your shackle hangers.

5- Of course, what steering you will be using. This is probably the most expensive part of the swap. I suggest getting a hi-steer kit from Allpro, or perhaps Sky. I had a local shop just build my links, but I'm running a 44, so they didn't have easy bolt on kits that they have for the toy axles.

6- You will also want to get extended brake lines.

pretty much sums it up. if you dont go thru the frame you can also put the shackles under the frame. oh yeah put the axle as far forward as you can this will let you keep the truck low and let you run big tires
