I recently have recieved a toyota supra motor and trans and was told that it can be put in my 89 Yoat has anyone done it? how hard is it? what extras will i need other than the motor? any suggestions?
Try searching this site. Super Runner has done several of these swaps and has posted some great info. There is also a good thread on rockymountainextreme.com, lots of stuff on pirate4x4, and a good writeup on 4x4wire.com.

there are rusty ones available here fairly regularly. i bought mine w/ a friend for 450. ran and drove. he needs the engine for a cressida and i get the bellhousing, etc. i also have a 20k mile turbo block so .........:Rockonman
Yeah, I'd like to do one as well. I think I'd probably go with the non-turbo engine for a couple of reasons. Power seems about right as it is, not so much that I'll roast transmissions. The whole swap seems a lot easier, since much of the fabricating and tight-fitting stuff involves the intercooler. If you guys do the swap, post up some pics and info.

the car i got is a non-turbo. the block i stumbled across through a friend. i think i would only do the turbo for staying in michigan, 300-400 horse is the norm around here.
