Hey guys,
i am about to put a roll cage in my truck. I am not too into the sport, i just want a cage in it so when i roll it again, i dont have to put another cab on it. Allpro makes one that bolts to the cab. Should i buy that one, is it pretty good for $350? If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know. thanks,

Marlin Crawler also makes one for about the same price as the All Pro.

i know about roll cages and i know the one that i get will be designed and built by me. i would rather do a custom deal for the little extra time it takes.

The price is resionable... However, If you look on the boards some and take the time, I'd bet you could find someone that can help you fab one up for about the same price, but better. Meaning "X" bracing, gaussets, and frame mounts..... All adds up to a safer cage in retrospect.... I've been doing research on cages for the better part of a year now and came to the understanding that I,"rather buld it myself" standpoint, and just buy the proper tools and spend the little extra money and do it myself... I have no one to blame in the end.. and if my research pans out I'll be safe for a many rolls.... Kinda a rant, but you see my point some, when it comes to safty for my passangers I'll never question it... Do some more research and you'll answer your own question in time...
>>>>>Skip the soapbox rant/speech<<<<<<
For me, there isn't a production cage out there that I wont modify for my standards...
hows that??? sorry

Man, I wish we had junk yards like that out here in Southern California. Every time I go to the local Pick-A-Part I rarely see any Toyotas, let alone 4Xs:mad: ............Hans

Haha... I have a friend who lives on a farm right off a highway with huge swamps and a bunch of us went down there and tore it up. Our trucks were covered in thick mud and our tires weren't even cleaned out when we hit the highway so when we got speed up it was launched up and big globs were dropin' off from underneath. We made a mess, but we were moving so no one caught us. :D

yea, when we left when we went 4xing, there was mud flying everywhere. especially in the front end since i have no fenders on it right now. It all went up into the air and landed on my hood or my windsheild. HAHA!
