does anybody have a chevy V-8 in their rig?

i am putting a chevy V-8, turbo 350 tranny, and chevy t-case in my 82 pickup. i was wondering if anyone else has done this swap or a similar one that could give me some pointers. thanks for any info you might have that i can learn from.

i would use the stock toy tranny and t-case but the bell housing doesnt unbolt from my tranny to get the one from advanced adapters.

friend of mine just did it and he said it was easy. he used all chev drive train too b/c the adapters are expensive. he can metal fab pretty good though.

use a th400 and not a th350. if you got the $$$ do a 203/205 doubler when you do the swap. also do it right the first time dont do any half ass work. just to get it done it will leave you disapointed and stranded somewhere.
