You can get just the wireing kits from Jegs or Summit for the thermal switch and manual or whatever.... There are different ones tho, Some use a sensor that clamps into the Rad. hose and others use a Tstat sensor... I'm looking to do the same thing here in a few weeks...! I know there is a bunch of info on Pirate under Gen 4x4 for those fans... They're popular for Buggys and everything else...

PS. If you figure it out before I start, PM/post up and let us know... I'll do the same...

If you get the kits then they have different ways to wire them...
When we did the V8 and dual pushers we just ran it to a manual switch, and it was jumpered through the ignition.... When the key was turned on it ran.... use the switch turn it off for defrosting in winter, and water crossings....
With the Temp switch it's kinda like a relay (spacing the name right now) but it's wired in with a hot fused lead and it triggers at a certant temp.... say 190* when most tstats kick...
The above kits should have all you need, just wire in the fan leads...
I'll reply when I do it, but it may be a while...LOL Stupid job...... :Freak:

Here is what I would do: when going to the junk yard for that taurus fan I'd check out the car in question and I'd follow the wires from the electric fan leading to the things that make the thing work. Id take them and install it in your truck.

The fans are controlled from the ECU on the Taurus.
