I think that the wheel hop I get from spinning my 35's made the ring and pinion go out it squeaks and cluncks a lot.

Do you have the original 4.10 gears? If so you ring&pinion is definetly fragged to pieces. because from factory they are not centered properly. Ive seen a couple of sets where the contacts are at the tips which make the teeth real easy to break. My two 4.10 gears fragged after just a few trails...

Hell I was spinning the hell out of my 33's with stock 4.11 . Never hunt them . Jack up the clutch .

It was a wheel bearing. It was making a huge awful noise. When I traded it away. I needed to trade the gearing out of my axles to put them in my new truck and found that there was NO BEARINGS at all left. Needless to say, I drove it from my house down the highway about 35 miles while it was making the god awful claging and banging noises. All fixed now though.
