What is the longest lasting, most powerful, and yet afordable battery?

be a little more specific
do you run lights winch welder what alternator
but I would suggest an optima since they are sealed
the rest depends on the answer to the above questions.
winching you want a deep cycle marine type
same for welding
but there just isn't a real good long lasting battery that's cheap
what do you consider cheap 40, 50 , 100, 150
a deep cycle optima will run about 150
and keep in mind if you plan on any of the above modifications you may as well get the battery for it
If you dont need a sealed battery costco has big deep cycle batteries for $50-60. They also have optima deep cycles for $125 I think. (plus the very liberal return policy) You could add one of these as a secondary battery and just use the main one as a starting battery. You'd have lots of power for accesories, but even if you drain it, the truck would still start.

I went with an Orbital. I like it so far, seems real powerful.
