high idle no code?

my 95 efi 4 cyl is ideling high like 1500 rpm's and as soon as you tap the throttle it idles rite down whereit should be and thats when it is warm? im not getting any check engine lite.

Sometimes the TPS will stick. Pull the TPS off the throttle body (mark it before you loosen it so you don't have to readjust it later;) ) and use some spray contact cleaner on it. That usually does the trick. Worked for me anyway........Hans

Have you checked the dashpot? Or have you cleaned the throttle body lately? They get gummed up and need cleaning every once in a while. Sticky throttle cable. Can you kick it down with your hand and see if you can see where it is sticking, possibly?

started doing it after i cleaned the throttel body wats the dash pot do?

The dash pot is an air filter that doesn't allow the throttle plate to shut suddenly, it slows down the last 3/8" or so. They can get plugged and not allow the plate to shut all the way. It should have a vacuum hose coming out of it below the throttle linkage and has a plastic housing with cotton (not sure what it is exactly) that limits the air flow through it to slow down the throttle.
