How heavy are they??? and is there good backing for the hard ware??? I know my friends hang on my doors to get in sometimes...

dont know ... never weighed them ... if I had to guess I would say about 10 lbs each , maybe ????? as far as strength , I wouldnt hang off an open door over a cliff , but I have climbed in the truck not opening the door many times . They are definatly reinforced in the hinge area , latch area , and lock area .

i've bought 2 beds from them now , tested there hood , and bought there prototype 1/2 doors .... I'm in the same town now , and a very firm believer in there company and product . I guess you could say ... I'm there spokes person .
